When I was growing up my mom taught me how to do stuff. Crafty stuff. By the time I was probably 8 or 9 I could sew, knit, crochet, cross stitch, quilt ... all of it. I didn't know that other girls weren't taught these things. I thought it was universal. With great age has come a FIRM resolve to stay away from the type of crafts that give crafty people a bad reputation. You know ... crocheted butterfly magnets. You have to be soooo careful. There can be a paper thin line between cute and tacky. You need a couple good, honest friends by your side to keep your bearings from time to time. Kaisha and Marie are perfect for the job!Saturday, September 12, 2009

That is the cutest most awesome thing I've seen in awhile!! You are amazing! And how thankful we are that your mom is amazing and creative, too. And normal. We're so thankful she's normal. :)
