It Was a Relatively Small Request

All I wanted was a simple picture. One to replace the old one in the living room. Stand right there and smile when I count to three. A simple request. Especially in light of what I really wanted. The windows washed, the kitchen cleaned, the flower bed weeded, the laundry put away, the soup made, a coconut latte and a day at the spa. But I refrained from asking for any of those things. Just a smile is all I wanted.
