Alissa has her first swim meet for the year this weekend! She will swim in six races. She swims Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. She has been swimming for ten months now. The team changed their mascot to the Bellingham Bay Blackfish. Orca whales were at one time called blackfish. The old mascot was a blowfish. Blowfish don't move very fast and they wanted a fast fish instead. Swim like a blackfish, Lis! Go Big Team!
