Pay Dirt

I think about it a lot. How Mia and Ania's lives are so different than if they had stayed in Korea. It's amazing, really ... all that God did to bring them to us, half way around the globe to a whole different world, keeping them together to grow up sisters. I love it. I love being a tiny part of it. I love being their mom. I love it that we could provide for them and bring them up in our home and love them to pieces.
And boy, did they hit pay dirt, when they got Collin for a big brother. Last night he picked up Mia to carry her, cradled like a baby in his arms, to bed. He wanted Ania on top. He carried them both through the house to bed (and then of course I made him stand still and pose in two different locations for pictures before he could put them down). They were just giggling and laughing while he held a big bundle of sweetness from Korea. He is amazing with them. So patient and fun. They have no idea what a treasure they have in him. He's the perfect big brother.
