... was one of the happiest days of my life. It was on September 30, 2002 that our family met our precious Mia for the first time. We were nearly bursting with anticipation and excitement. She was less than 5 months old and we had been in the adoption process for about 18 months. Now, six years later we can definitively say that when God brought Mia into our family it was one of His kindest mercies to us. Mia, we adore you!

We all thank the Lord for Mia!!! She is such a sweet person and a huge blessing to be around. Praise the Lord for His goodness in bringing her into the Thomas family.

I remember waiting at the airport with your mom and dad and the 3 older sibs. We all paced around, as though we were waiting outside of a labor and delivery room! Finally, 2 ladies, each carrying a little Asian baby were coming down the escalator and we said, "It's the babies! It's the babies!" and then we saw your crazy hair that was sticking up. It felt to me like a new baby was born that day, and it was such an exciting time! There is a cute picture of all of us at the airport. Thomas is asleep in a stroller, and I think Amanda is holding you. We love you Mia!
