There they go at 8 o'clock this morning. Off to Operation Snowflake. Collin and a bunch of friends are hiking 5 miles up Stuart Mountain in the snow with packs and the intention to spend the night. They did it last year and had a blast. It's currently 24 degrees outside and the forcast is another 3 to 6 inches of snow tonight. Subzero sleeping bags, good long underwear, tents, mini camp stoves to boil water, etc. A little bit of excitement and guy time to balance out his otherwise girl-filled world. We are so thankful for his Larsen friends who think up crazy schemes like this. Oh, and I heard that they had to pull one of their friends out of the ditch before they actually got going on the hike. Ahhhh ... the fun of being a guy in the snow!
